Come to drink (Isaiah 55:1-13)

Come to drink,
All who thirst,
You the poorest,
Free your curse

Why spend money,
On things not bread,
Why do labour,
When taste is dead?

Listen! listen!
Eat what's good,
You'll taste flavours,
Rich men would

Come and hear,
Come be alive,
In all times,
You will thrive

I made David,
Make me known,
A faithful leader,
To the throng

You'll call nations,
You don't know,
They'll come running,
Where you go

Seeking splendour,
As you seek Him,
The Lord's unhidden,
And found within

Let all of evil,
Give up their ways,
His mercy's ready,
It liberates

Our thoughts differ,
My ways you'll love,
The Lord has spoken,
From high above

The heavens tower,
Above Earth's floor,
My ways are higher,
My thoughts all soar

As rain and snowfall,
Drench the ground,
Return to cloud,
When buds abound

Seeds from sowers,
Yield bread to eat,
My words are telling,
On them you'll feed

You'll go in joy,
And do no wrong,
Whilst the hills,
All sing in song

Ahead of you,
The trees in fields,
Will clap along,
With hands of zeal

Instead of thorns,
Berries will grow,
From out the bush,
Of God's say so

This will be,
A lasting sign,
Forever it,
Will mark His time.
