Be Humble Serving God

(Romans 12: 3-8)

Be humble serving God,
And sober when you judge,
Success can make you high,
Think low and never fudge

Think about the time,
You first had the word,
Hold onto that day,
Whatever you have heard

We have but only one
Body for our needs,
Every part reacts,
Enacting all our deeds

Christians are the same,
A body made of bits,
Their gifts make up the whole,
A graceful composite

Some can prophesise,
They're fired by belief,
Others love to help,
Aiding with relief

Teachers have a knack,
For teaching what they know,
Cheerers cheer along,
In everywhere they go

Givers never take,
Faith is their true ace,
All their worldly goods
Are granted with grace

Leaders know their gift,
Is leading from the front,
They should do it well,
And be diligent

Mercy is a gift,
Given with a smile,
A body having this,
Can go the extra mile.
